Characteristics of viscose fibers

Viscose has 12% moisture absorption, but cotton has 8% moisture absorption. The elasticity of viscose is less than cotton, so it is more susceptible to wrinkles. But due to the smooth surface of viscose fiber, it is more shiny than cotton, but boiling water will destroy this shine. Viscose fiber is heat resistant up to 150 degrees Celsius, but it changes color over time against sunlight.
Like cotton acids, it causes the destruction of viscose, but the resistance of viscose against alkali and soda is very high and is much better than cotton. The length of viscose fibers is shorter and weaker than cotton. The thermal properties of viscose are similar to cotton, with less resistance than cotton and its ironability is good
